"I am not sure how long exactly but I think several months now." Bridget said not shifting to her fox or human form as she was always more comfortable in her leopard form. She watched Leon for a moment the boy's silence slightly bothering her though she did not let it show. She was worried enough about her twin.

Zack smiled at them both, tail tip twitching. He felt comfortable enough, not seeing either of them as a threat, not because he felt he could take them, but probably because they were both leopards. He felt more comfortable around his own kind, in more ways then one. "Is it hard?" he asked, curiosity spiking when he thought about the rebel group. "I mean, being with the rebels and all? Travelling with them, living in such a large group?"

"Easy for most." Bridget said leaving it at that though she had more she could say but didn't. She let her tail curl around her paws. Her eyes looked to the ground thoughts bothering her. She laid down with a oof the air leaving her as she laid ruffly.

"But not for you?" Zack prompted lightly, picking up on the female's tone. A small frown crossed his face, he watched as she lay down, hoping that meant she was more relaxed with him being around. Although he could understand why she would feel uneasy around him, he always felt slightly uncomfortable around people who were on their guard over him when he had no intention of hurting them. Still, he understood it and tried to take in it his stride.

Suddenly a large, black dog leapt in front of Skyler, his tail between his legs and a whimper escaping from his throat. The dog was only there for a second before he leapt off into the shadows of the alleyway. There was the sound of paws drumming on the ground and Jo came to a skidding halt at the corner of the alley. "And stay out!" she growled, a large piece of meat dangling from her jaw. Her emerald green eyes flashing with anger, a growl irrupting from her throat. Her fur raised and her ears pressed against her head in anger. She didn’t even notice Skyler, just watching as the dog disappeared into the shadows. ---------
Skyler froze in his footsteps, legs stiffening in a hault, as the black dog bounded by in a rush. He felt his blood run cold for a split second and the hound was gone. For some reason lately anything he reconised as a predetor when he didn't expect it seemed to startle him more than it had. Suddenly evidence had been shown why the dog had been running with its life. There stood the wild dog, the slab of meat held tight with greed in it's clenching jaws. Hell, no wonder the dog sent off howling in apology. She looked untouchable. "Jo...Had a ruff day?" he asked, eyes wide and ears pinned in still shock.

"Let me put it this way, When you were raised in Africa in a african village it is hard to get used to things like this whole experience." Bridget said as she laid ears relaxed.

Jo's head raised sharply, clearly not taking the joke well, about to snap the head off whoever own the voice, but instead her vicious look relaxed greatly, even the twitch of a small smile on the tips of her lips. "Skyler!" she said in surprise. These alleys were the last place she's expect to find the elk injected. She sighed, shaking her head and dropped the chunk of meat at her paws. "Don't get me started," she sighed, head drooping slightly, before perking up as she looked up at Skyler. "So, how you doing?" she asked, the fur along her spine taking a while to relax.

Zack frowned, clearly her reply made him think up more questions then it answered. "Africa?" he asked, smirking as he flicked his tail. "My place of origin. Or at least, 2/3 rds of me come from there.” He paused, not really wanting to intrude into a place he wasn’t welcome, but he was curious about the girl, seemed slightly different from most of the girls he met. “The concrete getting to you?” he suggested lightly. “Or the enclosed feel of it all?”

"Before we came her were were in Alaska. It was nice and I felt free and like I did in Africa. But here it is so...so different." Bridget said and curled up head low and resting on her paws. She was not like the others who were used to city or this populated areas.

Skyler took a step back, eyebrows arched. Though he stood in his place seeing recognition relax the wrinkles in the wild dog's snout, and wash out the wold glint in her eyes. "Hey hey!" he greeted with a wide grin, happy to be talking with the cool attitude female again. "Must have been somethin'," he mused, ears perking as the fresh grass colored eyes met him. "I'm pretty good over all, not bad news at least," said the boy with a shrug. He looked at Jo raising a brow. "Should I even ask?" he laughed, about to ask Jo how she was doing. "Life treatin' you alright?" he decided to say, putting his hands in his pockets. Though he was planning in the alleys for long, eager to get out into the sunlight again.

Zack frowned lightly, clearly the leopard not happy with the life of the city. He paused, having come through a rather nice place on his way to the park. He stood up. "I know a place," he said, shrugging lightly. "It may not be Alaska, or Africa, but it's a lot more natural then here." He wanted to leave the invitation as open as he could, really not wanting to sound like an alpha luring her into a trap.

Jo's ears fell back against her head and she looked away from Skyler, down at her paws, which she shuffled against the concrete. "Not really," she said slowly, unsure if she wanted to talk about it or not. Skyler was one of the few experiments she felt relaxed around, although not always keen on the jokes he used, he was normally relaxed and free spirited and had forgiven her on more then one occasion for trying to eat him. The silence was deafening as she looked up at where the black dog had made it’s escape, regret and horror glinting in her clear green eyes, a shiver ran through her fur, her mind clearly wondering elsewhere then the conversation at hand. Jo hadn’t always been the social, going in and out of how social she had been feeling, but this was different, there was a distance in the wild dog.

"I guess I tag along." Bridget said standing and yawning. She waited for him to lead the way. If it was a trap it would not really matter to her too much and she could find away out of it.

Zack smiled happily. Glad that Bridget trusted him enough to follow him. He turned around and padded forward, as he started he limped on his front right paw, but after a while he had to hold it off of the ground completely, bounding forward on three legs. He glanced over his shoulder to check if Bridget was following.

Skyler's smile had vanished, eyebrows furrowed creases in between his eyes as he clearly showed concern on his face. What could possibly have gotten Jo down? She wasn't the kind who would listen to put downs, or lies...or was she? Time seemed to slow, seeping like thick honey. He saw the female fall into a trance, lost in her own sea of thoughts. It was amazing how easy it was to read the canine. Skyler started to grow uneasy in the long interval in their conversation. His ears folded against his head. "Jo?" he said to hopefully catch her attention. "You want to talk about it or not? I won't be a jack-ass," he offered admittedly. He leaned his back on the concrete wall, arms folded one over the other, eyes cast sympathetically down at Jo.

Jo's head snapped up at Skyler, not aggressively, just snapping from her thoughts and her ears fell even lower, if that was possible. "I..." she paused, frowning. "When I attacked you," she said slowly. "You understood, right? That it wasn't me, I didn't mean it, it was just the DNA reacting and taking over?" her voice was surprisingly subdued, especially considering the force in which she sent away the black dog.

Bridget followed after Zack. She noticed he was limping but did not say anything. She moved up over the wall. She landed with a thump tail moving behind her.

Skyler's expression softened, but with a hint of surprised. "Jo...I understand you didn't mean anything personal," he said shaking his head. His ears were now cocked out to the sides. That was what was bothering her?! "That happened ages ago! You shouldn't be thinking about that," he told her a little flabbergasted. "It's happened to me more than once, you shouldn't be on your mind!" he said running his hands over his face. He had no idea Jo was that sensitive. This was a different side of her, he'd never seen. The weak side. Or was it? Maybe it showed strength for her to able to speak of it...as much as it was no big deal. He put out his hand, gently placing it on her shoulder blade.

Zack grinned lightly at Bridget, before turning his concentration back to where he was going. And also turning his concentration to walking, finding it required a fair bit of thinking about to move in a way that wasn't too slow, although he notice he didn't look partially agile as he moved on three legs. It was a little bit of a walk to where he wanted to go, he knew two leopards walking right through the centre of the park would draw far too much attention, so he began to skirt along the outside of it.

Bridget followed closely tail flicking. She wondered if it would be better for her to be in her fox form though she was unsure about it at the moment. She looked around and her mouth was agape as she panted lightly.
