Have you ever felt like things are never working
Have you ever felt the the wind whipping cold rain at your face
At a hundred miles a hour
Well heart ache and loss of a friend feels the same way
The pain begins to take over every thing else
That blind rage that had started a fight turns to agony
All thoughts of what you were fighting about leaves
Leaving you in a hole with dirt being pilled on top of you
Like being buried alive the pain never leaves you mind

Why is it that things never go as you want them to?
Why is it that pain hurts more when it is not physical?
Why is it that you always feel the worst when you are alone?

Have you ever felt the pouring rain or electricity surge through you?
Have you ever felt the pain of a friend as your own?
Have you ever lost what means the most to you?
Have you ever lost your way in the dark in a place you never been?

I have felt this more times then you would think
I have lost loved ones and seen them die
I have feared that I may not wake up at night
I have seen more then other girls my age
Though most of it I have seen in my mind and made happen
I take the blame for every day and every problem

I am a leader that watches every thing
I am a lost soul that helps others
I am a friend with her ups and downs
I am a person that has lost her way but never stops helping the lost
I am a leader that will never stop trying to keep things right
Though I can never get things in my own life right

I am a lost lonely leader looking to lead the lost
I am more lost in others problems they become my own
I am forever a lonely soul that has no purpose but to help others
Though I seem to continue to mess up as no leader can work alone
