[shadow=red,left,300]A Long Way From Home, Where the Heart Is[/shadow]
USASI labs are still successful in their discoveries everyday. Every injection, every inspection, and dissection has brought them closer to understanding human and animal DNA, genetics, and heredity diseases. The team of scientists have brought an advance in medical technology and knowledge of the organic body.
The United States government has not stopped there. Now that the US is in an economical depression, the government is desperate to compromise with foreign countries to help raise money. Japan. One of the most advanced countries in technology and science has taken up this offer, that could both benefit citizens of the two countries…All but the few hundred individuals, the experiments.
Agreeing to a sixteen month contract USASI has shipped a select few of the experiments over seas. Many of the human hybrids have been chosen on how well they might…appeal to public. Japan has taken their subjects and decided where to put them to make money to split between the US and Japan. Many will be manipulated into adds, commercials, and even on wide display to generate millions of dollars. But not all industries that want use of the experiments, are at all viewer friendly. Some independent companies not involved in the government, are beginning kidnappings and illegal bargaining to get in on the money.
In the turmoil of it all emotions run high to escape the forced labor, and dignity diminishing work. Some are isolated after being taken to Tokyo, Japan, others are desperate to return to the rest of the main group in Los Angeles, back to what they call family. To return home will be a challenge, separated by a body of water and the captors that hold them as their property.
Important Plot Notes:
*When role-playing this plot, try to have only one to two charries in Japan so that our Los Angeles setting isn’t deserted.
*So we can keep track of where your characters are, it would be much appreciated to put a tag on the top of each post that says ‘LA/Los Angles’ or ‘Japan/Tokyo’ so we know where that reply is taking place, and cuts down confusion.
*This plot does not need to include everyone, if your too busy with school and such to carry on with such a plot that’s alright. Individuals can take their character on their own time, and develop their own mini plots to correspond with the main story line given.
