The Island: The island was the second place the experiments went to, after the lab in Washington. It was supposed to be a large reserve that the experiments couldn't escape from, where the scientists could keep an eye on them but not keep them in their crampt cages all the time. The island was filled with wild animals and other dangers. Of course, after a while the experiments did escape and move to new york. But the island held out for a while, that was until the experiments blew the lab up and left in a helicopter. It’s been about a year and a half since they were last there, since then it has gone through many changes. It was converted into an alpha training facility, what was left of the old lab was demolished and the rubble cleared. A temporary laboratory was put up in it’s place, as only the most loyal alpha’s got to go to the island they had very little need for cages, only having one room full of cages for them. Other then that it was just your basic testing that went on in the lab. More buildings were created throughout the island, the alpha’s head quarters and rooms, an intensive gym, warehouses, the scientists’ quarters, etc.
Anyway, the alphas have moved out and half of the island has been forgotten about, leaving the buildings to crumble and rot, although they might provide some use to the experiments. The island is a mixture of terrains, with waterfalls, lots of lakes, beach, woodland, etc. There are also a number of dangers on the island, here the scientists rule, simple as. As well as the scientists there are the animals that roam wild, some of which have been tested on by the scientists and are much stronger, faster and smarter then normal animals. And, new for 2009, the alpha team now join the island with their own building. They weren’t there in the island in 2007.
