Zack watched as the girl pulled back from him as soon as she was set back on her feet. He also took a step back, not wanting to crowd someone who didn't want to be crowded. He watched, not being able to keep a small frown from inching on his face, as the teen fell to her knees, although the frown melted at the look of fear on her face. He took half a step back, the trunk of the tree preventing him from moving back a full step. He followed her gaze to the small black cat who only hissed harder at her look. “Greebo,” he growled under his breath, a warning look crossing his face, the hiss fading and the cat taking a few more steps backwards, before turning his back on the pair, a huff leaving his lips as he stormed off, laying down in the long grass a few feet off, sulking.
Zack shook his head at Greebo, before turning his gaze back on the strange black haired girl before him. He was clearly completely confused by her behaviour and her leaning away from him didn’t help. “Are you ok?” the twenty-one year old repeated softly, he paused for a moment before crouching down so that he was level with the girl, his brown eyes soft, along with his voice.

♰He had seen the tension. It had passed silently between both Indi and Will. It was awkward, strange and different. Will had not changed, well maybe a tad bit. Just how tired he looked. Silently the boy was wondering how much damage he had caused once more. He couldn’t even begin to image or comprehend how much he must have hurt his ‘family’. He didn’t want them in pain anymore. If Indi could he was transfer his numb state for each and everyone of their heartaches and pains, each sadden tale and each sorrow which left scars unseen. He would take it all and bare it all as if his own. And not once would he complain or whine, no he would be strong about it. He wouldn’t let others see him in pain, because his pain causes them pain. And he didn’t want pain anymore. Never.
Indi felt Will’s arms wrap around him. It was a comfort and for a moment he was in a silent bliss, feeling he belonged and he was right where he was suppose to be. When he was pulled tightly against Will Indi felt the acceptance. He felt like this was his father again. But yet he felt ever so guilty about causing him the pain that he had clearly seen. Indi promised himself he would do everything in his power in the future to stop such a thing from reoccurring. As he whispered softly to Indi he felt like his younger self. Where he would look up to Will for everything, Will was his role model, his friend, and his dad. Never would that change, Indi wouldn’t allow it to change. Age was no longer a factor in his eyes and he didn’t care about it.
When Will sighed Indi’s shivers had stopped but his breathing was still uneven as he fought for composer. No. No more pain! But he found himself soon calmed as Will comforted him. Always. Always Will doing the comforting. Why not someone else for Will. Who did Will have? Indi felt another pain of guilt splash through him and he embraced Will tighter. Will all the power in his arms, well ok not all his power… But a fair amount of it. Indi then murmured something once more, another small pleading sorry. The tears had stopped now, Indi had forced them back will all his will power. Never before had it been so hard to compose him self.

Skyler walked around the large pedestrian side walk, along Venice beach. Although the crowds were a good size, anyone could make a safe bet they would find him there. He walked, a hint of swaggering in his step as he clicked his pick against his nail, gently nodding his head. He was out on his spare cash refill again, his pockets empty. He wore his guitar on his back, a strap around his shoulder in his usual attire. Finding a good corner where people walked from an ice cream shop, he preyed on people who still had their extra change in their hands. He sat down legs spread in front of him, and his musical instrument resting on his lap. The elk boy played a main course of Hawaiian music to fit the coastal atmosphere, and digressed a few times into familiar songs to the south west coast. "Hotel California", "This is LA" and "Smooth" was played a few times. It was hard to miss a boy with antlers, and a guitar in his hands, and as always he was successful in his gatherings.
Skyler made his way back in the late afternoon, disappointed the rainy weather didn't stay a while and the blazing sun took its place again. He walked by the hide-out restaurant, the tops of his antlers visible, drifting by as he passed underneath. He opened the door, raking himself through the door way as usual, expecting another predictable day. He tossed his guitar onto the couch, before pulling his hands from his pockets that were filled coins and green scraps of paper. "I'm home," he uttered, by his voice you could tell the boy had no idea of the familiar visitor. He flopped down on the couch, counting his modest collection.

She could tell this person was analytical, she was to. But by the way he was looking at her he seemed in an almost confused state thanks to her reaction. That most likely was not common for him. He was a fine looking man. But Sin just couldn’t handle her fears. She let it slip again. He was in her safe. In her flight or fight zone. The 19 year old felt horribly cornered and this was triggering aggressive nature in her that was not yet showing through, well it did a little with the other smaller creature that had a temper that Sin would love to straighten. It was wise of this man to move away from her. As the cat moved off she sent another cold glare its way. And whispered pathetic in her mind. She had meant plenty of ‘mean’ cats that had better personalities then this one. That was another thing about Sin; you can’t be aggressive or to quick around her or you will get a chain reaction from her.
She watched as this man shook his head. Before he was once more looking at Sinner. She could read him like a book, so confused. As he asked about her being ok or not once more she was surprised at how soft his voice was. When he crouched down she watched him carefully. His eyes were rather pleasant and reassuring yet Sin some how was thinking this guy was acting. It had happened before in which is why she expected it now. So many people used ‘nice’ to take advantages of girls like her, ‘pretty’ girls. She gave a quick jerk of her head from side to side in the reason of a no. Her heart was racing and was probably even hearable to human ears.

Will’s body relaxed again, it felt reassuring to have Indi safe in his arms again, knowing that he wasn’t dead or seriously hurt, he was safe and home again, and he thanked the heavens for that. He no longer had to worry or have his usually useless imagination running away with all sorts of horrible stories and ends to all those he’d lost track of. The quiver in Indi’s voice, the gentle shake of his body simply confirmed what Will had needed to know, Indi still needed him, which gave him great relief.
”It’s ok” he murmured gently, voice soft and soothing, that very gentle voice Will had, not deep, yet not boyish and it retained that masculine tone, it was a hard voice to describe, but it was pleasant, seemed to have tones for all occasions, especially comforting, soothing. The fact he knew Indi needed this, it was enough for that parental side of Will to kick in full force. He of course, could no longer kneel and hug the boy but he still needed to crouch ever so slightly.
He did kneel down though, so he was looking up slightly at Indi. ”I’m sorry too” he said sincerely, knowing his earlier attitude must have badly knocked Indi’s confidence and composure, but maybe…maybe that was also a lesson for Indi, for Will as well. Will had to see sense, Indi had to take responsibility, that actions did hurt people, especially when they went with no apology. He gently brushed the boy’s hair aside, a small smile on his lips, he couldn’t help it, it was a very familiar motion Will done with Indi, when he’d had longer hair, it simply became a habit.
“It’s alright” he murmured once more, trying the boy’s cheeks. ”c’mon. lets get something to drink, hmm? Before you give yourself hiccups” he smiled softly. Ah, no matter what the situation, you could always count on Will to take the lead, to think of others, to calm and reassure them, tend to their needs although they didn’t speak of any. He stood, patting Indi’s back in a comforting manner and set his hand on the boy’s shoulder to gently steer him towards the stairs, his tail flicking his bedroom door closed behind. ”If you’re lucky, you get to meet you step siblings” the older male commented slightly, a small grimace in his words however, how Indi and Duncan were going to get on was going to be show to see indeed.

Zack frowned once more, but a different frown, not confusion but sympathy at the jerky shake of the girl's head. "I'm Zack," Zack introduced himself lightly, trying to shuffle back slightly more but was still blocked by the tree. Zack ran a hand through his floppy brown hair as the strands obscured his vision of the girl. The young man watched her quietly, if they had been in the lab he would have understood the behaviour more, but considering the fact they had randomly bumped into each other in the park and he had yet to realise she was an experiment the reaction he was getting was very confusing.
Greebo’s tail flicked irritably back and forth, this was one of his better days, it had to be said, where he would actually listen to Zack and back down, normally he got overly cocky and ended up in serious trouble. Of course, he liked trouble, too much fun to pass it by, but Zack was, for once, feeling rather safe in his surroundings and a small spark of unselfishness within Greebo prevented him from ruining it, at least for today.

It is me, Lee, your lover! Don't you remember? Come now my little Honey Bunny I have a nice little bed we can have some fun in set up. With champenge and candles and everything is red. Doesn't that sound like fun darling?" ((Repost))

Cassandra sat at her desk, not really caring much about what happened to the dragon injected, so long as he didn't continue whatever he had with the Alpha. Her mind was busy on her work until she heard the all too familiar voice of Jay. A roll of her dark blue eyes and Cassandra pushed back her chair, walking swiftly over to the door and jerking it open. She paused as she saw Jay standing there in, yes, a skin tight hot pink shirt. She leant lightly against the doorframe, eyebrow arching. “Do you want something?” she asked simply, making no comment on the shirt nor what Jay had just said.

♰Indi could feel the relaxation in Will’s body, a comforting sign. He was so happy to be here, in his father’s arms again. A place where no one could ever hurt him. But yet Will was all so in Indi’s arms, a place Indi knew he would never lose Will. A place where he could forever hold on and never let go. And to be honest Indi never wanted to let go, he was still scared this was some dream and he would walk up in the empty hallway. He didn’t want to lose Will. Not again. If this was a dream then… then Will could be hurt still, he could still be suffering from his pain and that made Indi ever so uncomfortable.
He was reassured once more with that soft murmur that Indi had missed so much. It was just so good to be home. His real home. He was a child again, free and innocent. No teenage worries there to hold him down or to trouble his mind. Indi was unable to describe how wonderful it felt. He was regretting leaving so much. But at the same time glad he did. It had showed him just how much he needed Will and just how much this place was important to him.
As Will kneeled down is was rather awkward. Never had Indi been higher then Will. And he found it amusing that Will had to looked up ever so slightly to be eye and eyes with him. As Will told Indi he was sorry to, the boy gave a soft smile, he looked like for a moment he would cry again but then his face went blank. He composed himself once more. When Will brushed his hair away he couldn’t help but let the chuckle escape his throat. He had been keeping his hair rather short but growing his bangs. He could still remember when his hair kissed his shoulders and how he could barely see without having a golden blond screen in front of his eyes. Indi returned the small smile.
Indi nodded, a sharp jerk of his head. Everything would be alright. He told himself over and over till he believed it. At the hiccup comment a wide smile broke across his face making his features lighten up greatly. As he was guided to the stairs Indi kept one arm around Will, as if he almost needed the reassurance he was there. And in truth Indi did. He could hear the door shut and glanced over his shoulder briefly. How come he couldn’t do anything cool like that? Then when Will brought up stepsiblings his brow raised slightly. Were these the two little brats he had been hearing about? Indi noted the grimace and decided it was.
“ Are they the two devils I have been hearing about?”
Indi had already started down the stairs when he froze half way. That scent! He looked at Will quickly, eyes wide with a new excitement. But then they dulled out. What would Skyler’s reaction be. He shifted slightly under Will’s hand. His body tongue changed rather quickly to a more closed off and defensive stance. Same old Indi in that part. It was a subconscious thing. One he didn’t even know he was doing.
“Has Skyler even noticed my disappearance?”

Jay leaned down a bit and ran a hand through Casie's hair, all too badly wanting to make her explode. Now he actually had the sense about him to know how to get away. "Just checking up on you love and making sure you remember your and Lee's 'fun' time tonight." He grinned mockingly. Just because he had sense didn't mean he would use, or at least not until the last second. No, Jay was in season now and it made him reckless and over confident, but he wasn't so far in as he was seemingly drunk. That would come later.
Duncan saw a new face, a new scent, and more importantly a new play mate. Leaping from the book case he hurled himself at the young blonde boy, landing on the male's chest. Wheither he toppled the boy over was up to his balance. Duncan being only the size of a house cat wasn't that heavy.

Cassandra blinked calmly as she felt Jay's hand run through her hair. She shook her head slowly, taking a step towards Jay so that their bodies were nearly touching. "Lee's no 'fun'," she murmured, moving her hand up to run it along the collar of the hot pink shirt. "Nice shirt," she said with a small, seductive smile, hand now running down the collar and along Jay's chest. "Very sexy."

Sin watched as he frowned. But she couldn’t understand it. It was to different and new to her. She wanted to be back at the hide-out now. Her rooms was the safest place in the world right now and she had a lock on her door and window. Which meant she could successful isolate herself from the male gender. As he stated he was Zack she thought she might at least give him a chance… What chance males deserved. She parted her full lips and a rather harsh tone came out yet is sounded almost like a snarl.
“ Sinner.”
She said simply. Thankful as he backed up against the tree. She knew her reactions ere puzzling to him. But that was only natural now. She was just so jumpy and her instincts were just so powerful that she simply could not ignore it. A tremble that was rather violent shook through her. She was still leaning away from him but her head was arched forward slightly, her nose twitching now and again as her eyes scanned him.

Jay blinked in surprise. No gun pulling, yelling or threats? But that was all he let show. He'd play along for a while, but if it progressed he'd stop. He had no intention of going to bed with any other than the silver cheetah he had his eye on. ((Season may take over though. MUHAHAHA! >D)) "Thank you." He murmured, "I got it from a special recomendation. I think it looks stunning on me."

Zack nodded slowly, taking a moment to realise that she meant she was called Sinner, rather then he was a sinner. Once more running a hand through his hair, not because it was in his way, but because it became a nervous habit of his. He wasn’t nervous as such, just unsure. “Nice to meet you,” he said with a small dip of his head. In all honesty it was just a formality, it was hard to say it was nice to meet a person as strange as Sinner but that didn’t mean it wasn’t nice to meet her, it was just hard to conduct a first impression of her.

“Will sighed lightly, yes, those brat, well, no, Dream isn’t so bad, Duncan…on the other hand” he muttered. “Oh, another thing, Duncan’s in bad books” he stated blankly, his tail and both hands were bandaged due to the Dragon’s sharp needle like claws and teeth. So yes, Duncan was in the major bad books. “Ignore him” he told Indi. “I don’t want to physically punish Duncan, so I’ve taken to ignoring him, Jay can come back and kick Duncan up and down the alley for me until the little lizard learns” he muttered. His words were harsh, but there was no real malice in them, Will could never hurt a child, hate one, yes, but not hurt, not badly or on purpose.
He watched Indi, amused as he seemed to take in the small, he’d heard Skyler enter, the fight his antlers often had with the door frame weren’t hard to miss out on, so he lead Indi down the stairs, hand still on his shoulder a smile on his face which seemed to have lightened as Indi was once again smiling and happy, he’d have to tell Indi he didn’t like seeing the boy keeping his face blank. He wanted to see expression on te boy’s face, all times, whether it be sadness or happiness, he didn’t want to see a blank mask, he shouldn’t need to hide things away, no matter how simple, Will refused to let Indi do such a thing. However, he was dragged from his thoughts as Duncan suddenly launched himself at Indi.
Sharply, Will caught him, put him firmly on the floor and shoved him away and didn’t give him a second glance. “That, would be Duncan” he drawled, keeping his tail curled higher so Duncan wouldn’t attack it, otherwise he’d probably lock the lizard in a cupboard. “Go say hi” he grinned to Indi, removing his hand from the boy’s shoulder.

Cassandra smirked lightly at the moment and nodded. “Certainly is stunning,” she admitted. She slowly moved her hand back up his body and rested both hands on either shoulder, before pushing Jay heavily against the opposite wall. Cassandra could be very forceful when she wanted, as she pushed Jay against the wall she pushed her lips against his, forcing his mouth open and letting her tongue enter. She let it roam freely, if only for a second, before pulling backwards and stepping backwards to lean against the doorframe once more. “Is there something you want, Jay?” she asked offhandedly, as if she had only just opened the door.

Sin was watching him as closely as she could. Reading each breath and tension of his muscles. He seemed respectful. Reminded him of that platinum blond male she had meant who tried to stitch her up once. Kira was his name right? She had bitten him pretty good on the hand for touching her, Will had to take care of Kira’s hand from there and give him clear warning about how she was around boys. Surely if this guy was park of the ‘group’ wouldn’t have Will told him of her? She then decided to try and be ‘civil’ as long as he didn’t touch her.
“ I’m sorry. I guess you could say I have a problem with guys.”
She told him. Voice more even now, but still the aggression was there in the back. She slowly pushed herself off the ground. Watching him very carefully. Her sharp blue eyes an almost liquid silver now. It was a most beautiful metallic color. Yet it was so cold it could have been ice.

Skyler's ears perked instantly at the combination of Indi's voice, and his name mentioned from upstairs hearing Will as well. His heart leaped and he jumped to his feet. He sprinted up the stairs skipping steps as he went, he turned the corner to see Indi and Will, his antlers classically ramming into the corner of the wall. His eyes settled on Indi, and stopped a few feet away. He had certainly grown... about Will's height. Almost with pure impulse the elk boy lurched into Indi with a bear hug. He had forgotten the accident completely in the mean time and was ecstatic to the jackal boy. "Damn boy! Where you been, and what have you been eating?!" he said, letting go of Indi. He looked him over, the kid like face was gone, more like a handsome young man, and a lot taller. His ears cocked, feeling rather small now.

Zack watched her as she rose, nodding slowly. He took a moment before standing himself, his hands digging into the back pockets of his baggy black trousers. A gentle smile spread on his lips. “It’s alright,” he said softly, understanding that much more of the random girl in front of him. He had barely talked to Will since joining the experiments, only enough to learn each others names. He mostly knew Skyler and Bridget. “You’re an experiment?” he asked, finally taking in the scent of the female and noticing the canine scent mixed with the human.
