" Other than the nauseous feeling of being in such a small place with no apparent exits? I'm fine ," Damien said with the smallest of shrugs. His eyes traveled around the cage again, as if to check that there was, in fact, no exit. He moved toward one of the walls, wanting to check to see how strong this material was. He rapped his knuckle against it, feeling no change in the material and give. He very much doubted it was as weak as bullet proof glass, maybe even strong enough to stop as good as anything. He could be, surprisingly, logical at times. Damien concluded that this man he was talking with must be in charge of the whole new lab. Or the entire USASI for all he knew.
" Just to cure me of my curiosity, I'm not gonna be released, am I?" Damien asked. It was a mixture of wanting to get out of the small area, and to make sure that Twilight was OK. Yeah, he trusted the man for some reason, there was no reason to lie about something like that. Corbin couldn't possibly know that him and Twilight were engaged, could he?

Jo scowled at Will, she didn’t like being told what to do by the cheetah boy. “I’ll be nasty to them if I want to,” she snapped back irritably at Will. Her eyes glanced over to Duncan and frowned, when did he get so big? Last time she had seen him he had been a tiny little thing that was setting the door alight, or at least trying to. She shook her head, not really wanting to think about it right now as she soon felt Will sitting beside her. Oh, yeah, those wounds. Those stupid, bloody wounds. She didn’t reply for a while, her eyes concentrating on Duncan so not to have to look at Will. Her eyes glanced to Skyler as he began to pick up and eat the grass surrounding them, she couldn’t help but smirk, it just seemed odd to see a teenager eating grass. Maybe something you would see a toddler trying to do, but not a kid of Skyler’s age. It just looked odd, although the antlers were helping to make the image even stranger. She smiled thankfully to Skyler as for once the elk injected decided to use from tact and leave the two alone, Skyler sometimes knew the right thing to say and do. Only once the pair had gone did Jo turn her face back to Will and reluctantly nod. “I guess I’m not going to get far if you don’t have a look at these wounds,” she said with a sigh. She glanced along her body, covered with small scratches, stained blood. Some of the wounds had scabbed over but some of them were freshly opened when Jo tore away the bandages. “Bloody glass,” she muttered darkly under her breath. If it hadn’t become apparent yet, Jo wasn’t in the best of moods, and feeling so venerable wasn’t helping any. Kira was playing on her mind a lot, which wasn’t helping where Will was concerned. “Bloody men,” she added, even more darkly.

Large paws padded silently on the sand, leaving large imprints as the shadowy figure walked along the beach. Rounded paw prints with sharp claws digging into the impressionable surface. A thick, black coat covered the creature as it made it’s way steadily forward, the coat looked uncomfortably hot on the almost tropical beach. There was a patch of cream fur across the creature’s chest in the shape of a crescent moon, which clearly labelled this creature as a moon bear. The moon bear was a rare species and not one that was seen a lot outside of Asia, it wasn’t a popular creature to keep in zoos and other collections. But what was rarer then seeing a moon bear, was seeing a moon bear on the beach, they normally live in dense forest and never would be seen upon sand. It seemed that Jesse had discovered his animal form of the moon bear, and hadn’t yet been able to shift out of it, and in this heat it was becoming intolerable. Although it would have made sense to move inland, he had heard a shout further down the beach and was eager to check it out. His pace picked up slightly as a scent reached his nose, it was the first live scent he had detected with his new nose and just had to find out what it was for the next time he smelt it. He broke into a run, which looked rather cute in his bear form. He galloped along, kicking up sand and his fur flying in all directions. Soon a figure came into view, as he grew closer it turned into two figures, one a young girl and the other a young woman. Jesse slowed down into a trot and then into a walk, his tongue hanging out as he was panting heavily. Running hadn’t been such a good idea. His brown eyes peered at the two girls through the mass of black fur, his moon bear form, being so fluffy, was a real pain. In all honesty he looked awfully cute and he knew in the heat the fur would be pain, but it was also going to be a drag in the rain, he could imagine getting a soaking and it taking forever to dry out. Why couldn’t he be injected with something cool, like a tiger? Well, he would have to argue with one of the scientists about that later. Right now the two females had just come into clear view and he was picking out certain details about them, like the wings along the older female’s back and both of them having fiery red hair. He guessed they were sisters.

Jack Lancet -- Jack smiled, his fingers still cool upon the plexiglass as he watched her still, his eyes scanning her worried little form and smiling with absolute joy that only comes from being a grandparent... and at such a young age it's quite a feat. He should have known that Will would take care of these lost kids, it was only natural. He still had that paternal instinct from caring for Evie, it would of course lead him to protect the children. After all, protecting people is what Will did best. "What's your name?" He asked curiously, tilting his head to one side.
Rook Lancet -- Rook grabbed Evie's arms and fell back into the sand, pulling her dear daughter onto her stomach and hugging her, Evie's joyful cries resonating through the atmosphere, her eyes suddenly catching the great bear in the distance. "Mum it's a teddy it's a teddy!" She said excitedly, climbing over Rook's stomach and tripping over in the sand, eager to pick herself up and carry on towards the enorous hulk of the bear. Rook frowned, recognising the threat. She'd been on this island before, and she knew that the bears here were NOT experiments. After what happened to Jo, she wouldn't be taking any risks. She got to her feet, and was between Evie and the bear within a lightening flash, her expression dark and telling all. Back away was resonating from her so strongly it may as well have been written in neon and plastered over her head.

Corbin smirked. “Yes, you won’t find it easy to get out of these cages, I’m afraid the free run you had with the old cages is long gone,” he commented as he watched Damien test out the strength of the glass. “But then again these cages are larger then the old ones, and not as cold or uncomfortable as the metal bars.” It might be a small consolation to the experiments to have more comfortable and better sized cages, considering you couldn’t get out of them, but at least it was something. The man paused at the next question, a frown crossing his face and he let out a sigh. “I’m afraid you’re going to be here for a fair while,” he replied honestly. “I believe you have Cassandra to thank for volunteering you as a test subject for our new lab,” he added, with a small wink. Corbin didn’t get on with Cassandra and vice versa, he was always ready to turn people against her, although he was sure she would have told Damien herself if she had been here. She was proud when she made someone’s life a living hell. “She told me to make sure I check in on one of her lonely love birds,” he shrugged, clearly not knowing what that meant.

" Oh dear god Twilight didn't tell her about the engagement ," Damien growled to himself, sitting down with his back against the wall, his head buried in his hands. Of course Cassandra had something to do with it. Half if not all of the injuries he had received since he became an experiment were at her twisted hands. His wings opened behind him, a reminder of what she had done, as well as the bullet wounds on his arm and side. " Can I ask you to stop her bringing any bullet loaded fire arms in here? I really don't want to be shot. Again ," Damien asked, not removing his head from his hands. He ran a hand through his hair to remove it from his eyes and looked around. At least they were alone in here. Although, knowing his luck, Cassandra was waiting around the corner and waiting to make a most sickening entrance.

[glow=navy,2,300]Dreamcaster[/glow] Dreamcaster looked over to see two other but could not quite hear them as they were on the other side of the room she looked back to the man before her. "Dreamcaster, But daddy seems to like calling me Dream more." She said. She looked at her wing that was twitching and ran her nail over it to scratch the itchy area before rubbing it gently. "You are not going to let that mean lady near me again are you?" She asked looking around to see if Julie was around.

Jesse watched as the little girl leapt off of the teenager and came running towards him, he grimaced at the call of ‘teddy, teddy,’ honestly, was a more manly dna too much to ask for? But he soon ground himself to a stop as the teen came in-between him and her daughter. If the child hadn’t called the teenager Mum, Jesse would have worked it out for himself right there and then by the instinctively protective nature that emanated off of the young woman. He paused, hesitantly. On the one hand his instincts were screaming at him that this was not a woman he wanted to mess with, one the other hand he was boiling hot and rather desperate to shift out of his form. He had shifted into his bear form a little after he had woken up on the island, he had heard the roar of some creature and pretty much freaked out, even if he would never admit it. So, now he was pretty much stuck with no idea what the hell was happening. The whole concept of the USASI was still unclear. But this mother and daughter were the first signs of experiment life he had seen in this place as he wasn’t about to back down now. He began to walk forward, but slowly, very slowly. He cleared his throat rather uncertainly. “I’m not going to hurt her,” he called out to the eldest female, his eyes glancing at the young child for a moment and smiling, he liked kids. “I’m just.. A tad lost,” he added, glancing behind him at the stretch of beach, before back at Rook, his approach still careful, looking for any hostile response from the mother.

“You’re engaged?” Corbin said, surprised. He had never thought that the experiments would fall in love, let alone get married in this situation. If anything it was a bad thing, emotions weren’t really a good thing in a fighting machine. Unfortunately emotions tended to fly high with the experiments, it was something they needed to work on. He shook his head and chuckled at the request that Damien made. “I don’t think anyone could stop Cassandra brining firearms into this room, honestly, hell would swallow this building up whole before that happened. But this glass is bullet proof, so you should be safe so long as you’re on opposite sides of the cage,” he smirked.

" Thats good then, no more gun shots for me ," Damien said, trying to relax in the environment he wasn't used to. He pulled his wings against his back, the dark feathers blending with his dark colored shirt, his leopard like tail flicking behind him. He didn't plan on shifting. Becoming a bird would just feel strange if he wasn't flying, a dog would hate to be caged. His newest form was one he had never shifted to, so didn't want to risk it in a place like this. Instead he just relaxed, his ears hidden in his blond hair.

"Tsk, testy" the cheetah muttered under his breath, rolling his eyes lightly at the bad tempered wild dog but was smart enough not to say that drectly to her. he glanced over to the nearby wolves whom were grooming the pup and keeping an eye on the surrounding experiments and then to Duncan and Skyler. they sat a respective distance from each, which he was pleased about as he could see Jo visibly relax. He continued to stroke the unmatted fur for a few more moments, taking in the damage with a light sigh. He tutted under his breath. he had no supplies, no bandages and he was rather fond of this shirt...but it seemed that it would be the only source of cloth ready to cover the wounds. He tutted under his breath and removed his shirt with a deep, exasperated sigh. "Hey, don't go bad mouthing men in general, I'm sacrificing this lovely shirt for your benefit" he sulked. he hummed thoughtfully under his breath. With one last look at his shirt he used nimble slits with his claws to fray te fabric into long strips and patches. Even if Jo wouldn't let him bandage it, he had to at least clean away the blood. "Skyler" he called, throwing him a few bits of the shirt. "Go find some water to soak it in, river or sea water doesn't matter" he added. sea water would more effectively kill the bacteria although Jo would probably try and claw his eyes out (Again).

[glow=gray,2,300]Twilight[/glow] Twilight flew around through the jungle trees. She soon slowed as she had grown lost. She landed in a tree not aware that there was hidden camera's around the areas. She had set herself up unknowingly infront of a camera. She sat in the tree wings around her her head only part of her visible. Her head low as she stood and with her taloned hand she began to just claw at the tree in blind anger. She kicked at the tree with her taloned feet digging long gouges into it from her large claws. She let out her loud harpy eagle screech the same one she had let lose when she killed Rich but the meaning and tone different. It was filled with pain, confusion and hopelessness.
Twilight whipped her clawed hand at the tree and when her claws got stuck she just leaned against the tree head down. She cried and shook as she just listened to her fading schreech on the wind listening and praying to hear Damien call back to her. But only her voice echoed and faded into nothingness. She unwillingly began to think of her past words in her head making her more lost and angry. She managed to pull her claws free but as she did her arm swung from the momentum of pulling it free she cut her other arm with one of her claws. She knelt and gripped her arm where she cut it the crimson blood slowly seeping through her fingers. She tore her shirt arm off and wraped the fabric over her arm tightly to stop the flow of red. She cried not from the pain of her arm but of the many other things.
"You will never find some one to love you. You are a outcast, a orphan, a reject, no one will ever want you." The words of the director of the orphanage she had lived at once echoed in her head as she went into a trance.
She was back out on that dark street her mind going over what would happen if she could not find a safe place for the night. The director of the orphanage had just dumped her back on the street leaving her locked out to find a safe haven. Most of the buildings around were all locked up so she just walked the streets all that night. Tear stained, dirty faced she walked slowly, tiredly, solemly along looking at the sky slowly growing cloudy. Soon the rain was coming down in sheets cold and unforgiving. The young girl continued to hide under a bridge in the quiet city that was normaly busltling like an ant collony but when it rained it slowed a lot.
Twilight ended up sleeping under the bridge that night. Cold and damp she rubbed her eyes with her hands as she looked around. She found a bin with cleaner close that was to got to donations. She put the clothes on. Her pants a bit long she ripe the ends off and the shirt she had to streach out as it was one size to small. Twilight felt the urge to walk around the mall that was not far from the small city she was at the moment.
She walked at a steady pace and reached the mall at around noon time or so she was not to sure. She walked around but then the lights went dark as the storm out side began again. But she swore she heard gun shots mixed with the thunder. She heard screams and saw the shapes of people running. Then things all slowed then to a stop as she felt a pain in her arm. The sounds seemed to fade away as she did with them.
It was a strange feeling waking in a place different then where you remember passing out. Being in a cramped cage is no fun either. She looked around and what she saw that night. People with animal features and animals who spoke. But what happened to her was what changed her for ever and made her hate a lot of people as well as her life. As the cages were sprung by Will she had went into a blind rage that changed her forever. That night she killed a man. Even if it was the one that also made her lose her life before that she did no know and may never know.
Next she knew she was in a place that was untouched by humans it seemed. A island that was like a huge set of places in one. It was nice while it lasted until she found herself in love with a scientist that would change her life once again. She thought it would be a good thing. But soon she was seperated from him for a long time. Draged to another place of her past. The city that had also hated her and broke her but taught her something she should be remembering right now. "Hope travels apon the song of a flightless angel, While love and friendship is the heart of the flightless angel. Keep those loves, friendships close, and hope will never be too far behind. Never forget that Twilight." The old blind woman that ran the church in New York had once told her and as these words echoed in her head Twilight began to come out of the trance.
Twilight blinked as she then looked around lost. She silently muttered 'where am I?' as she jumped from the high tree branch and flew away from the tree she scared marking how she felt but not even remembering some things. She flew up out of the canapoy of the jungle and looked around her eyes taking in the far off environments. She turned and flew off towards a small black dot that must have been huge for her to see it from as high and far away she was. Twilight flew pumping her wings and flying on thermals she made her course to the black dot that seemed to grow as she grew closer. Now flying over a pine forest and soon a feild she began to fly lower before landing not far from the group she knew recgonised to be Will, Skyler, Jo and one of the Dragon kids who she had to say grew a heck of a lot since she last saw him. She walked over slowly as she had noticed the wolves who she knew she did not know. She felt lost and confused but better now being near someone she knew. She stood not wanting to get too close. Her wings were out slightly behind her as she came in from the side away from the wolves and closer to the group she knew.

Skyler automatically stopped moving away and turned around when he heard his name called. Instead of his question answered he was given a task, before he could blink two strips of shirt was thrown at him he caught one and the other fell onto a few horns. He gave an irritated frown pulling the piece off from a couple of horns draping them over his shoulder. “Righto Doc, shall I also fetch the saw?” he mused before turning and jogging down to the beach. He knelt down where the water rolled up on the sand, when a small surge came he plunged the two pieces of cloth into the water and pulled it out. He took the wet scraps of Will’s t-shirt and rung it out until it was only damp. Then his eyes caught something colorful among the smoothed pebbles on the shore he picked it up. He sprinted through the grass back to Jo and Will, leaving a thin trail through the field. He handed Will the seawater cloth, giving an encouraging grin to the wild dog. “Here yah go! Oh, and look what I found,” he announced whipping out his half shell that held colorful bands of red and orange. “Purdy ain’t it?” he said, slipping it into his pocket. Amidst the chaos and uncertainty of being fresh on the island, the elk-boy seemed to be phased by the little pleasures. “I’m going to go see who needed help, I’ll find you guys later, maybe we could all meet up at where I camp used to be. Later!” he said finally jogging off in the direction that Will used to be in, traversing onto the shore so he stayed out of thick of the woods.
He ran for about three-fourths of a mile, to about the distance from where he heard the voices. “Hello!!? Marco!!” he called out hands cupped around his mouth.

Jack Lancet -- He smiled, shaking his head. "No one's gonna lay a finger on you, Dream." He said still watching her. He wondered if she'd grown up shielded, or if she really knew. "What happened to your mum, Dream, do you remember?" He asked. He knew that, if he told her the truth and she didn't know, Will would probably kill him. Be the truth of it was, she was a blood relative of his, she was her granddaughter. To Will she was probably very very important, but Jack knew what it did to people to be shielded from the truth. His fractured relationship with his own daughter was perfect proof of that. Then again, he may have told her everything, which would have been excellent, or he would have protected her, wrapped her in cotton wool, and kept her from being hurt. It was nothing to be ashamed of, it was protective. Paternal. But it could shroud you from doing the right thing.
He hoped to god that it was false, and that she knew everything. She probably did, and that train of thought that just selotaped itself to the back of his mind was probably just a whole pile of useless brain-phlegm.
Rook Lancet -- She paused, raising an eyebrow as she studied the bear. So he was an experiment? Interesting... still a little suspicious. She knew there were those out there who would easily take a swipe at her, she was after all on the lab's covetted immaginary most wanted list in their minds. It wasn't her own welfare that she was worried about. If this guy was an alpha and he'd come to grab her and bugger off, Evie would be on her own. She had no idea where Will or any of the others were. They had been dumped, the pair of them, in soft sand and left to crumble. Her expression, therefore, didn't ease. "We're all lost, that's the way it goes. You must be pretty green around here not to know that." She said quietly, brushing untidy crimson hair out of her line of vision as she continued to critically study the bear. The body language was pretty much stating that he was more friend than foe, and Evie seemed to recognise this too, clasping her arms around her mum's leg and peering with clear blue eyes at the creature, a curious yet timid expression on her face as her tail flicked through the sand nervously.

Dark green eyes glared at Will under hooded eyelids. Jo let the testy comment slide, but Will’s tutting was getting on her nerves. She was in a foul mood and sometimes Will’s level thinking got to her when all she wanted was to think irrationally for five minuets. But a smirk crawled onto her face as Will joked about his shirt. She rolled her eyes at herself and sighed, resting her head on Will’s knee, glancing up at him and smiling at her old friend. Will had put up with a lot from her, as had Skyler. She shook her head lightly and watched Skyler jog back with the now wet strips of Will’s shirt. Once Skyler was out of ear shot Jo lifted her head up and watched Will for a moment. She wondered if she should tell him about everything that had happened, or if it was just better not to say anything at all. Would he really want to know she had seen Jase? Was it best just to keep her mouth shut, she wasn’t sure what would be best for the cheetah boy. She didn’t want to lie to Will, but then again was it worth bringing up, she didn’t think they’d be seeing Jase any time soon. Jo was fine with Will bandaging her up, she trusted Will, unlike anyone in the lab, and they were now alone so she didn’t have to worry about anyone else. Well, the wolves were still there, but they weren’t getting in the way. She paused and then turned back to look at Will again. “I saw Kira,” she said, her ears dropping. Will and Kira hadn’t really known each other that well, but Will knew Indi very well and Jo just needed to talk about Kira to someone. She didn’t know if she would ever see him again, now that they were at the island. Honestly she hated being the sort of girl who needed to talk about a guy, she’d rather be on her own, but Kira had managed to break through the barrier Jo put up for everyone else, which was another thing she hated.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Jesse couldn’t help but smiling at Evie as she peered around Rook’s leg, it was so cute. But his brown eyes immediately returned to Rook as the young woman spoke. His ears fell back slightly, didn’t she know where she was? Fabulous, the first people he met and they were lost and all. “I’m pretty new to all of this,” he admitted, still moving forward at a steady pace. The gap between him and the girls was closing to the point where he would only need to take a few bear sized leaps forward to reach them. Here, he stopped. He didn’t want the girls to have to back up if they were uncomfortable with the space. He was sympathetic to Rook’s protectiveness and wasn’t about to push his boundaries, after all, he had no reason to. They could hear each other perfectly fine over this distance. He sat down, his great haunches flopping against the sand, sending up a small cloud of gold into the air as he did so. He watched the two females curiously. “I’m Jesse,” he said after a moment’s pause. “And I’m a tad… stuck,” he admitted, shaking his shaggy head, sending sand flying from his fur. “In this form, I mean. I shifted out of instinct and have no idea how to shift back, don’t suppose you know how, it’s boiling in this heat.”
Corbin glanced over at Jack and Dreamcaster, a knowing smile hidden by a mass of stubble. One ear was on the conversation the pair were having, wondering how Jack was going to handle it all, making sure that the man wasn’t about to try and break his Granddaughter out. The other ear on Damien. “So, tell me, Damien, how’s Twilight likely to react once she knows you’re missing?” he wasn’t trying to wind Damien up, honestly, but he was curious to know what Damien thought would happen. If reports from Cassandra were correct, Twilight would most likely be having a fit.
Dreamcaster looked at the man confused. She thought for a moment she remembered Bridget and Jo. Bridget looked like Will so she knew she was not her mom as they looked like siblings to her and Jo she was around when she hatched. "What do you mean?" She was growing more confused. Jo wasn't her mom? She shifted the postion of her wings and backed up a bit. Her blue eyes now looking down as she was lost in confusion.
Bridget's walked about the grassy feilds listening and smelling for prey to bring back to the group. She had a hard time seeing over the tall grass but when she heard the sounds of wild horses that were slightly smaller then tame ones she smiled. She began to stalk near them knowing the risks. She grew closer able to see them in a area with lower grass. She hid and began to creep closer to one she noticed at the outer area of the herd. He looked older and tired. She was glad he was not thin though. She then broke into a run as she was close enough to be able to reach him in a few long strides she prayed nothing would startle it other then her.
Marrisa sat up, her charcoal black eyes steadily opening. She sighed hearing the sound of the ocean ebbing and flowing behind her. She brushed the sand from her shirt, calmly looking around her and assessing the situation. She was the last kind to panic, her thinking was too systematic for that kind of reaction. Yes, they were in a tough place to survive but she wasn't going to fret about it. She had done it before. She took off her glasses, wiping away particles with cuff of tank-top. She pushed them onto her nose and got a better look of the lay of the land. The grass here was a golden brown and sun beat moderately on her fair skinned shoulders feeling the heat beginning to penetrate her skin. The girl stood surveying her surroundings for familiar faces. She walked shakily through the grass in search of shade or fresh water.
Sasha walked through the golden brown grass her fur letting her blend in well. She had her ears back and her tail low. Her tongue flopped out of her mouth as she panted. She looked around ears up as she looked out over the grass on her hind legs. She loved her werewolf form. It alowed for almost human like features but on a wolf. She could walk on fours or on twos. She sniffed the air trying to find the scent of Seth. She felt lost and not safe as she walked around. She was not sure if she should howl as she did not want other creatures to find her before he did.
Marrisa spotted the animal creature shifting through the grass. She could tell it was one of the experiments by the unusual werewolf stance. She paused for a moment to tuck her black hair behind her ears before calling out. "Hey! You're an experiment correct?" she said to the nearby figure.
