A loud 'humph' sounded around the roof as Jo was thrown into the air and came crashing down against the cold flooring, all the air was knocked out of her. But she didn't stay down for long, determined not to show the pain that was coursing through her shoulder and back, which she had landed on. She leapt to her feet, noticing the cheetah was free of his hold, but had also lost his footing. In a flash she took advantage of this moment and leapt the length of the room, crashing into the cheetah again, this time aware of his paws and not getting on top of him if he rolled. Her teeth aimed for his throat, her claws snagging against silver fur as she snapped forward in a frenzy.

The cheetah managed to steady his foot, but despite his quick recovery he wasn't quite quick enough to avoid the frenzied dog, having misjudged the amount of time she'd be down for. He grunted as the smaller animal barged into him using enough momentum to bowl him over. He growled twisting his head so her jaws missed his neck in every attempt. He didn't want to harm the animal for it was hardly her fault, but he was getting fed up quickly. Using most of his weight he bucked against the floor to jolt the dog above him, then in a hard sweep of his paw, lashed out at the dog's temple, hoping the blow would disorientate her enough, or at least distract her if he clipped her muzzle. He then, whether he hit or not, rolled sharply to the side into the dog's legs to try and knocked her over.

As Will kept wriggling his head out of her way, Jo gave up on the neck and snapped forward to his muzzle, snagging her tooth along the same wounds she had made there earlier. But when he jolted forward Jo was forced to stagger back, although this meant that Will's paw only connected with her muzzle rather then her head. She growled and snapped forward at the paw that had hit her, managing to clamp her teeth sharply, and painfully, into his paw. But it didn't stay like that for long as she felt Will crash against her legs. She realised his paw with a growl as she slammed down against the floor once more. This time she didn’t leapt up right away, Will wasn’t in a compromised position like he was before, so it wasn’t worth the extra effort. Instead she slowly lifted herself back onto her paws and growled at the cheetah, eyeing him up.

Will yelped as the fangs sunk into the soft flesh of his pad, whether it was roughened against the ground or not, the fang easily penetrated the skin. He raised his foot off the ground, refusing to place it down after feeling the pain that flared through his leg. He snarled, anger rising in him as he was made to deal with this and not return the punishment. With a logical mind, heavy weight and speed he could probably crush the dog if he wished, but he didn't, which put him in the weaker and more frustrating position. He wanted to strike back and the will to do so and his better judgement warred against each other. Fur bristled he whirled around and with a clear bound against the wall, he propelled himself up onto the tall cage that had once held the dog. He was glad the cages were designed for mobility unlike common cages in dog kennels. He stared down at the dog, pleased that Cat's had the edgy climbing ability. He sat and stared down at the wild dog, deciding he'd linger up here until Cassandra realised that the fight was over. His eyes never left the dog however as he raised his paw and licked the bleeding wound.

Jo couldn't help but smirk as she watched the cheetah being unable to put weight onto his paw. She licked the blood off of her teeth as she watched him, she knew that he could end things for her if he wanted, it wouldn't take much to be honest, months of low nutrition and torturous experiments meant the only thing keeping Jo going was the fire inside her. She knew that if she gave up with that, there was nothing keeping her here. If she gave into the scientists she’d hate herself so much she knew she’d find it hard to see the point in sticking around this earth any longer. Jo braced herself for an attack when Will suddenly whirled around, but was surprised when she watched him leap on top of the cage. She let out a growl of annoyance. She padded forward until she was underneath the cage, looking up at the cheetah. She snarled at him, irritated that he hadn’t turned to fight. On the one hand if he had decided to fight he’d probably kill her, on the other, attacking people and other experiments was the only thing Jo knew now and anything else confused her greatly. She glared up at Will as she began to pace underneath him, waiting for him to come back down. As she walked up and down it was clear to see her shoulder jerked uncomfortably, pain running through her body every time she moved thanks to the falls Will had caused her. But unlike Will, Jo would never willingly show that pain. “Damned cheetah,” Cassandra snarled from the control room. “I was hoping one of them, if not both of them, would have died from that. Still, some good is going to come out of this,” she smirked and she unclipped her radio from her belt. “Oh Lee,” she cooed down the receiver. “You’re butt’s getting fired.”

The radio was silent for a moment before it fuzzed and Lee's voice emitted from the small speaker. "I don't think so Cassy" the man replied calmly, his Irish brogue lilting his words. "Don't think I'm not aware of what you're doing with the experiments. Not only are you damaging Government property, you're also depleting government funds with every wound that 057 and 016 inflict upon each other. The bullet wound a few weeks prior went down as self defense, this however..." the radio cut off, after a minute or so of silence, the man stepped into the room, the perfect image of calm and collect as his dark brown eyes looked directly at the woman, seemingly completely unruffled by her threat. He approached the monitor and gazed at the poised creatures in the room, the dog still pacing avidly and the cheetah lounging on the cage top. He pressed a button and the tape that had been recording the incident slid from the slot and Lee picked it up and tucked it into his pocket. "Now" he murmured, his dark fringe spiking over his eyes. "I am merely responsible for negligence of an experiment and making sure experiment #16 didn't wither away and die, I believe she was meant to be set on the experiments, correct? Some psychoanalysis crap I believe was the excuse" he frowned. "Setting two experiments, who could easily kill the other, on each other who are key implements to this institute also makes you legible for sacking" he finished, adjusting his shirt cuff nonchalantly, an air of ease about him that was rare for anyone to feel around Cassandra.

Cassandra glared at Lee as he entered the room, he was so damn infuriating. "You're also responsible for the bite on William's muzzle," she replied, rather pathetically, considering the amount of blood that was spattered across the floor and walls of the room that was her fault. She pushed her seat, which was one of those spinning ones on wheels, backwards and turned it to look at Lee directly. She rolled her eyes when she realised that Lee had the upper hand now, folding her arms she set her cold blue eyes on him. “Alright, what’s it going to take to make sure that tape never sees the light of day?” she questioned.

"Oh, touche" the man replied with a roll of his eyes. He smirked slightly, a new expression on the man. "Simple, you stop shooting the experiments that are in our facility, you stop hassling myself and you stay away from experiment 016's room when she is not scheduled for her daily torment" he replied, his tone edgy as he spoke of Jo's treatment. "I will be keeping this tape safe, if you break our 'agreement' it'll be sent to the Board and I am quite sure you will be dismissed". He was calm, stoic and official, any of the usual 'soft-heartedness' that was usually present has been replaced by a clinical business-like persona.

Cassandra smirked at Lee. “That's cute,” she said softly. “You trying to be all tough and controlling. Very cute.” She lifted herself to her feet and took a step towards Lee. “But that wasn’t really the sort of thing I was thinking about,” she said as her hand came up to run down the collar of Lee’s lab coat. Her hand flattened and smoothed the coat against his chest before she withdrew it. Her dark blue eyes lifted to meet his dark brown ones, a flirty smile crossed her face as she took another step towards Lee, their bodies now almost touching.

Lee cocked a brow, looking mildly amused as he refused to respond to the hand that pressed against his chest before pulling away, he lowered his hands into his pockets, keeping a tight hold on the tape in his pocket, because he didn't trust Cassandra anymore than he could pry a gun from her fingers. "I believe we've been there, attempted that" he replied smoothly, dark eyes peering through his fringe at the woman, a small smile curving a corner of his mouth. "I seem to recall you weren't interested" he replied, eyebrow raised in question. His voice had lowered, due to the close contact, and he didn't pull away nor draw closer, his eyes somewhat calculating as he studied the woman's face unwaveringly.

Cassandra chuckled lightly at Lee, her chin tilted ever so slightly upwards to stare into his eyes, although her high heels meant that the height gap wasn't very much at all. "What, don't I seem interested now?" she teased lightly, her tone low and flirty. She stepped forward once more and closed the last gap between them. Her body pressed softly against his, her eyes locked on his. "I must admit you seem to have gained a bit more of a backbone lately, and that's certainly a lot more attractive then old, spineless Lee." She paused, a thin smile spreading on her lips. "Anyway," she said brightly, losing her flirty tone and look in an instant. "It's either you or one of the board members, and they're all a bit past it really."

"I was never spineless" he sighed, as if bored. "But I'm not going to justify myself" he stepped back curtly, cocking his head slightly to the side, curious to see how Cassandra would react to being so blatantly rejected. "Now, as flattering as you are trying to be, I want Jo back in her cage and sedated, I will then tend to her wounds, I would also like you to acquire Will a new leash, seeing as how you broke the last one" he listed. "Besides, I'm sure you can find someone else in this building to sleep with, you're threats tend to work..." he turned to leave the room. "..Usually" there was a light smirk in his voice as he left the room to fetch a kit to treat Jo and Will's wounds.

Cassandra snorted with laughter as Lee turned and walked away. "Not a chance, Markus," she called after him. "If you want that bitch sedated, do it yourself, and I'm certainly not going to get you another leash. And as for your other requirements, it's never going to happen. Send the tape to the board if you wish, you know they're never going to fire me. In fact, send it to them and you’ll end up fired, unless you’re planning on sleeping with one of the men on the board that is.” She rolled her eyes, before slamming her wrist down on control panel, then she smirked. The problem with the room Jo was in, was there were no holes in the walls to place guns through, if Lee wanted to sedate the wild dog he’d have to open up the door. Which meant there was always a chance he might get his arm, or something even better, ripped off. She settled back into the chair and stared hopefully at the security footage.

Lee rolled his eyes. "Maybe I will, you're not above the law" he muttered to himself. He sighed and massaged a temple with his index and middle finger, shaking his head. Cassandra was a headache, a stubborn, obnoxious headache. "Where's Sky when you need her muttered, smiling slightly. She may of been a brat, but she was talented. He had to request a weekend off this sodden island, obviously the celibacy was taking effect. After fetching his kit and a small tranq gun, he stopped at the meat store for a fairly big chunk of meat before he made his way towards the room with a sigh. He wasn't really a field work sorta guy, but they'd all had to learn the basics. Gun in his free hand and kit at his feet, He opened the door and tossed in the meat into the middle of the room. He kept the door ajar, the distance between the door and the dog gave him enough time to shut it if needed. But at this rate, he believed the wild dog would be far too ravenous to turn down food.

Jo looked up as soon as she heard footsteps approaching the door. Her ears pinned back against her head, she dropped into a hunters crouch until the door was opened. Without even waiting to see who it was or what they were doing, she leapt at the door, teeth snapping once more. With such a large piece of meat Lee must have taken a few seconds to actually chuck it into the room, and Jo was across the room in less time then that. Her head shot forward to thrust out of the door, so that even if it closed she was still through. Her paws outstretched to get a hold of Lee. He obviously hadn't realised that food was fairly far down on her list of importance.

Lee decided he was being optimistic, as soon as he saw the flash black and gold he aimed and fired two shots, at least one hitting the dog since she was near at his feet. "Will" he ordered and the cheetah leapt forward off the cage immediately, throwing his weight onto the dog's back to pin her down beneath his larger body. At least in this position she wasn't able to bite or scratch him which was almost a plus. The cheetah chirped in apology, but figured that she'd be better off in this room than being battered by guards if she tried to escape, he knew well enough she would never be able to get out by herself, especially not in the half-deranged state she was in. "Keep her there" Lee instructed, waiting for the sedatives to kick in.

Jo let out a yelp as one shot connected sharply with her shoulder, but she didn't stop. She slipped through the door, leaping up into the air, her paws connecting with Lee's shoulders as she pushed all her weight against him. Her teeth sunk into the Irishman's shoulder, she could taste blood for a second before she was knocked off of him with great force as Will crashed into her. She was bowled off the man, further out of the door, and pinned to the floor. She growled in pain as she was pressed against the floor, trying desperately to turn her head to snap at all, but having no such luck. Oh how much she loathed Will at this moment, it was one thing, being their pet, another entirely to actually do their bidding against your own kind. He was an alpha, heck, worse then an alpha. Every bone in her body was telling her that he of all people shouldn’t be doing this, that he was a traitor, that she was right not to trust people, they only stab you in the back. But she didn’t have too long to dwell on those thought as the drugs took over and soon she was out cold.

Will clenched his jaw hard as the fangs, already bloody, cut through the flesh of his shoulder like daggers, and he jerked sharply, grimacing when the dog was torn from his body by the cheetah, he sighed in relief, watching as the consciousness fled the injured animal and, after some deliberation, the cat slunk off the prone experiment, growling unhappy as he paced, blowing air through his nose in his displeasure. Lee sighed and ignored the cat for now as he scooped the frail animal up in his good arm and entered the room again. Will after a moment followed with Lee's kit and sat down by the door of the cage where he placed Jo. Pressing against his injured shoulder he ignored the injury for now to quickly fix up the wounds. A muscle relaxant and a pain killer was injected into her, he cleaned the blood from the wound in her gum and poked and prodded at her legs and rubs to make sure nothing had been broken in the tumbles she'd taken. "Everything seems to be fine" he muttered, turning to Will who had replaced the earlier chunk of meat in the cage, his scent over it by now. He returned to the man and shifted edgily but otherwise allowed the man to check his wounds without complaint. In the end, his paw and muzzle were cleaned and paw padded and bandaged, his muzzle dabbed with a stingy cream. "That should be it" he closed the cage door and glanced up at the camera in the room before he left, holding his injured shoulder while Will carried the kit, the smell of blood stinging his nose.

It had been a long time since Sky Blu had stepped foot on the island, months in fact, but as the helicopter touched down and she stepped foot onto the roof of the lab, she was glad to be back. Her time away had hardly bee pleasant. The island used to be the alpha’s main training camp, but since it was now full of experiments they had set up a new camp, which was where Sky had been. She moved swiftly across the roof, keen to move away from the man that followed her out of the chopper. Corbin Blane, the head of the USASI, pulled himself out of the passenger seat of the helicopter, signalling to the pilot to leave as soon as he shut the door. The helicopter withdrew back into the sky, leaving the island. Corbin turned and followed Sky at a much slower pace. It wasn’t that Corbin was evil as such, he just didn’t hold the alpha team in high regard, and Sky became constantly furious with his total lack of contempt for her. Corbin made his way into the lab, he had been off visiting a number of other branches of the USASI, and setting a few new ones up. But now he was back to check in on the island. Sky however decided to go in the opposite direction to the boss man, finding the lift and pressing the button for the second floor, which was the scientists rooms and gym and swimming pool, which was exactly where Sky was heading. The alpha’s didn’t get their own swimming pool, so she was going to take full advantage of it while she could. As she moved down the second floor corridor the change in her was clear. She walked with more grace and poise then before, looking a lot more grown up then before, her flame red hair cascading in swirls over her shoulders. Atop her head sat two pointed ears, no longer the ears of a red fox, no, something much more exotic, a winged wolf. The wolf’s pelt was a mixture of red and pink, with her ears having purple backs to them with red ’eyes’ on the back, they were large, pointed ears and were pressed delicately against her hair, not out of anger but simply because their size drew too much attention for Sky’s liking. Her tail had also been replaced by that of the winged wolf, it was much larger and bushier. The main colour of the tail was that wonderful pinkish red, with the underside and tip being purple.

ooc|| Managed to get on the comp at my friend's for a minute to reply x3
Bic|| The sting was painful, in fact, a sting didn't even cover it. It was extraordinary painful seeing as he hadn't been subjected to an attack from an experiment as of yet. Not one that actually drew blood at least. He sighed, brown eyes running over the red patch that was seeping through the shredded shoulder of his once pristine white lab coat. He kept his upper body tense, his steps slightly uneven as every time he put pressure on his right foot, the pain shot up into his shoulder, like someone kept incessantly jabbing it. He placed his left hand onto it, gripping it tightly with a slight grimace. The adrenaline at the time of the attack had numbed the pain, but since now he had just himself to care for, it of course burnt like a bitch. He glanced down at the rather mournful looking cheetah who padded along beside him with the rhythm click click click of the un-retractable clothes on the tiled surface. He climbed the stairs with minimals sounds of dis comfort and headed towards the Scientists' quarters. However upon turning the corner, he ran into a very familiar face. "Well speak of the Devil" he murmured, managing to quirk a smile on the corner of his lips. "Sky" he greeted, "long time no see, you look...different" he noted, eyes taking in the change of attributes and fur, over all she seemed so much more mature. "Still a brat?" he queried, smiling slightly despite still gripping his painful, bloody shoulder.
